Solution Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (Finance)

Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation spanning a significant number of locations, with a continuous rollout cadence. This is a permanent, fully remote opportunity for a candidate who combines deep back-office finance domain expertise with strong technical acumen across integrations and the Microsoft data platform. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping architecture decisions as the organization scales its ERP footprint.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary solution architect for a multi-site D365 ERP rollout, supporting ongoing phased deployments across a growing number of locations.
• Design and oversee end-to-end solutions covering back-office finance modules including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and related financial workflows.
• Lead integration architecture between D365 and connected enterprise systems, ensuring scalability and reliability across the platform.
• Apply Microsoft Fabric and broader data platform capabilities to support reporting, analytics, and data movement requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate finance process requirements into sound architectural designs.
• Provide technical governance and standards guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle, including configuration, customization, and deployment decisions.
• Act as a subject matter authority on ERP finance processes, bridging the gap between functional requirements and technical solutions.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations.
• Strong command of back-office finance processes including AR, AP, general ledger, and related modules.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering integrations between D365 and third-party or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent data platform technologies within a D365 ecosystem.
• Proven ability to communicate fluently with both finance stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Experience supporting or leading multi-site, phased ERP rollouts at enterprise scale.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining effective collaboration across distributed teams.
