Oracle EPBCS Technical Lead / Production Support
Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle EPBCS Technical Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership and day-to-day production support for a live enterprise planning environment. This contract role is critical to maintaining the stability and effectiveness of business-critical planning applications following go-live, and requires close collaboration with both business users and technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings deep, practical EPBCS expertise with a strong track record in post-go-live support.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day production support for EPBCS applications and associated business processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and methodical manner, minimizing business disruption
- Serve as the technical lead for EPBCS-related enhancements, defect resolution, integrations, and ongoing operational support activities
- Support multiple EPBCS modules including Financials, Projects, and Workforce
- Partner closely with business users and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions
- Monitor platform health and proactively identify opportunities to improve stability, performance, and usability
- Document technical solutions, support procedures, and configuration changes to maintain a reliable knowledge base
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS, with particular depth in post-go-live production support environments
- Proficiency across multiple EPBCS modules, including Financials, Projects, and Workforce
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for complex planning application issues
- Experience supporting integrations between EPBCS and upstream or downstream systems
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business stakeholders
- Experience working in a hybrid team environment and managing competing support priorities
- Familiarity with EPBCS administration, business rules, data forms, and metadata management
