AI Engineer
WorQflow Solutions is seeking an experienced AI Engineer for a remote contract engagement with one of our clients. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions spanning AI agents, copilots, automation workflows, and intelligent applications. You will partner closely with product and business stakeholders to translate AI use cases into scalable, secure, and governed solutions.
What you'll do
- Design and develop AI agents, copilots, and multi-agent orchestration workflows using platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Implement generative AI capabilities including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and embeddings
- Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations with enterprise data platforms, including Databricks Genie AI
- Apply MLOps and LLMOps practices including model evaluation, monitoring, and observability to ensure production-grade reliability
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate AI use cases into technically sound, scalable architectures
- Integrate AI solutions within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Copilot, Git, and Azure DevOps
- Ensure all solutions adhere to AI security, responsible AI principles, and relevant compliance requirements
What we're looking for
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Databricks Genie AI
- Demonstrated expertise in generative AI techniques including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and embeddings
- Experience designing and orchestrating multi-agent AI workflows and agentic tool/skill design
- Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps practices including model monitoring and observability frameworks
- Working knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps
- Understanding of AI security principles, responsible AI frameworks, and enterprise compliance standards
