Power Platform Developer (Mid-Senior)
Our client, a high-growth engineering consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role sits at the intersection of application development and platform administration, owning both the build and the underlying data architecture that supports it. The ideal candidate brings enough depth to mentor junior developers while contributing ideas that drive continuous improvement across the organization.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain Canvas Apps and knowledge-driven applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Own the data architecture strategy underpinning Power Platform solutions, ensuring scalability and integrity
- Administer the Power Platform environment, including environment management, security configuration, and governance
- Manage the full application lifecycle (ALM) across development, test, and production environments
- Serve as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level developers on the team
- Identify and advocate for platform improvements, contributing ideas that raise the overall maturity of the IT function
- Collaborate with stakeholders across branch locations to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned to business needs
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience developing Power Apps Canvas applications in a professional setting
- Demonstrated expertise in Power Platform administration, including environment and security management
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles as they apply to Power Platform and Dataverse
- Experience managing application lifecycle management (ALM) processes within the Power Platform ecosystem
- Mid-to-senior level proficiency — capable of independently leading development efforts and guiding less experienced developers
- Comfortable working fully on-site during the onboarding period, transitioning to a hybrid schedule once ramped
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset; this organization values employees who surface ideas and take ownership
