Technology Project Manager – Cloud & IT Consolidation
WorQFlow Solutions is recruiting a Technology Project Manager on behalf of an organization undertaking a large-scale IT consolidation initiative. In this one-year contract role, the Project Manager will lead efforts to standardize and unify IT infrastructure across multiple acquired companies into a single, centralized Microsoft Azure and M365 environment. The position demands strong cross-functional coordination, clear communication, and disciplined ownership of a complex, multi-workstream program.
What you'll do
- Manage and monitor all active workstreams associated with the IT infrastructure consolidation program, ensuring activities are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Serve as the central point of coordination across multiple operating companies and internal teams throughout the migration to a unified Azure and M365 tenant.
- Track project milestones, risks, and issues, escalating blockers promptly and maintaining clear status reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Partner closely with IT Operations leadership to align project priorities, resource needs, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation to support governance and audit requirements.
- Drive accountability across workstreams by facilitating regular meetings, action item tracking, and progress reviews.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and communication as acquired entities are brought into the centralized environment.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure or cloud migration projects, preferably involving Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 tenant consolidations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple teams, business units, or acquired entities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach with a track record of keeping complex projects on track.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to both technical teams and senior leadership.
- Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA three to four days per week for the duration of the engagement.
- Experience working in or alongside IT consulting or multi-entity organizational environments is a plus.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred.
