Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Analyst (D365)
WorQFlow Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to support a contract engagement focused on the data and reporting layer of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment. In this role, you will evaluate the current Azure data architecture, design and build out a modern reporting solution on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, and establish best practices that connect enterprise analytics directly to D365 data structures. Your work will have a direct impact on how the organization consumes and acts on its operational data.
What you'll do
- Assess the existing Azure data architecture and provide recommendations on optimizing or replacing current components in favor of a Microsoft Fabric-based reporting layer
- Design and implement data models that are grounded in D365 data structures and aligned with enterprise reporting requirements
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards that surface actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Gather and translate business requirements into KPIs, metrics, and reporting solutions
- Establish and document best practices around data architecture, data modeling, and analytics delivery within a Microsoft ecosystem
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate reporting outputs and ensure they meet organizational needs
- Provide solution design guidance across the full reporting stack, from data sourcing through visualization
What we're looking for
- Advanced Power BI development experience, including complex report and dashboard creation
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and its data and analytics capabilities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 data structures and how to leverage D365 as a reporting data source
- Experience with Azure data services, including familiarity with Azure Databricks or comparable platforms
- Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into KPIs and data models
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale reporting architectures
- Ability to work independently in a remote, offshore engagement model and communicate effectively with distributed stakeholders
