Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer
WorQFlow Solutions is seeking a skilled Data Engineer for a short-term contract engagement with one of our clients. In this role, you will design and build data models within Microsoft Fabric to support report development ahead of an upcoming UAT go-live milestone. The work is time-sensitive and high-impact, with deliverables directly tied to a critical system launch in September.
What you'll do
- Design and implement data models within Microsoft Fabric to support business reporting requirements
- Build and validate reports in Microsoft Fabric aligned to UAT readiness criteria
- Ensure data is properly structured, transformed, and accessible within the Fabric environment prior to go-live
- Collaborate with the organization's data architecture leadership to align on standards and deliverables
- Identify and resolve data quality or pipeline issues that could affect UAT outcomes
- Deliver work within an accelerated project timeline of approximately four to six weeks
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data modeling and report development
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as a data source or integration point
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and lakehouse concepts within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience supporting UAT or go-live readiness in a data engineering capacity
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting with minimal ramp-up time
