D365 Solution Architect
WorQFlow Solutions is sourcing an experienced D365 Solution Architect for a contract engagement with one of our clients undergoing a Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical authority, providing strategic guidance on D365 architecture decisions and serving as a key liaison between the organization and its implementation partner. Your expertise will help ensure the integrity and long-term success of the D365 environment.
What you'll do
- Act as the internal voice of reason and subject-matter expert for all D365 architectural decisions and design discussions
- Evaluate and challenge recommendations made by the implementation partner to ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices
- Provide oversight and strategic direction for ongoing D365 remediation and improvement initiatives
- Review and assess current D365 configurations, customizations, and integrations to identify risks or gaps
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into sound architectural solutions within the D365 platform
- Document architectural decisions, standards, and roadmaps to support continuity and governance
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues arising during the engagement
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations or turnaround engagements
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of one or more D365 workloads (Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Engagement, or related modules)
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate third-party partner deliverables and hold vendors accountable to quality standards
- Strong understanding of D365 architecture patterns, data modeling, integration approaches, and platform governance
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting or stabilizing a D365 environment post-implementation is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage competing priorities across stakeholder groups
