Senior Business Applications Developer
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Applications Developer to own end-to-end business intelligence and data platform solutions with direct visibility to executive leadership. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Power BI environments backed by modern cloud data sources, while also contributing to both front-end reporting and back-end data engineering. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping how data is consumed and acted upon across the organization.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver end-to-end Power BI solutions, from data ingestion and modeling to final report and dashboard delivery
- Maintain and optimize cloud data environments including platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and related services
- Integrate Power BI with enterprise data sources such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, AWS, or equivalent platforms
- Develop and support both front-end reporting layers and back-end data pipelines to ensure reliable, performant solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data products
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing cloud-based data infrastructure
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to expand the organization's analytics and AI-assisted capabilities
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience building end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data modeling, DAX, and report development
- Hands-on experience maintaining cloud data environments such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Databricks
- Experience connecting Power BI to enterprise data sources such as Fabric, Snowflake, or AWS
- Proficiency in both front-end BI development and back-end data engineering or ETL processes
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting work to senior and executive stakeholders
- Ability to work on-site in Burlington, MA
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or AI-assisted development tools is a plus
